London Bridge is one of the main bridges used to cross between the north and south banks of the River Thames. There have been several bridges at the site since the Romans occupied London - over the centuries they’ve been destroyed by armies, pulled down, burnt down, and one historical version was even sold to a businessman in Arizona. However, the current bridge has been open since 1973. The arches of London Bridge are home to a train and underground station and an interactive theater attraction called The London Bridge Experience.

The bridge is open 24/7 - it can be accessed by pedestrians, cars, and bicycles. The London Bridge Experience is open from Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 6 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Additionally, during the bank & school holidays, it is open every day from 11 am to 6 pm.

It’s free to use the bridge as a pedestrian or cyclist, but it falls under the London Congestion Charge Zone for motor vehicles so be aware if you intend to drive over it.

Tickets for The London Bridge Experience cost £33.00 for adults, £29.50 for children.

The south bank of London Bridge can be walked to from London Bridge station, which can be reached by national rail services, the Northern and Jubilee lines of the London Underground, and a large number of buses. The north bank of London Bridge can be reached from Monument station, which is served by the District and Circle lines of the London Underground.
