Green/Red Route
This 28-stop route covers all of the most important sights in both Buda and Pest, from St. Stephen’s Basilica, past the Dohány Street Synagogue, Heroes’ Square, Buda Castle, Gellért Baths, the Great Market Hall and many more! Buses depart every 15 to 25 minutes from 9 am until 5 pm, and the full loop takes about two hours and 20 minutes.Yellow Route
This route covers the essential areas of Pest, passing the Chain Bridge, the Great Market Hall at Fővám tér, and the Hungarian State Opera House. Buses depart every 30 minutes and the whole loop takes an hour and 20 minutes to complete.River Route
This boat ride is usually panoramic, with visitors boarding at Petőfi Square, Dock Nr 10 and returning to the dock an hour later. From May to September, some tours also include a stop at the Margaret Island so you can disembark and explore. Boats depart every hour from 10 am to 6 pm, and you can enjoy English or German commentary as you enjoy your cruise up and down the Danube.Night Route
The purple or night route is an hour and 50 minutes long and takes you on a trip around the areas of Budapest which are beautifully lit up after dark. The tour departs from the stop at St. Stephen’s Basilica nightly at 7 pm, finishing back there at 8.50 pm. The tour is panoramic, so there’s no hopping on or off, but it does stop for a 10-minute photography break at Heroes’ Square.Walking Tours
Tickets include two free walking tours! The first, the red umbrella tour, explores Pest in an hour-long tour that departs from the St. Stephen’s Basilica bus stop at 5.40 pm every day. The yellow umbrella tour starts at Clark Ádám tér and ends at the Fishermen’s bastion an hour and a half later. It covers Buda and the castle district, and guests should be aware that they’ll have to do at least 8 minutes of steep uphill walking. Yellow umbrella tours leave at 11.30 am and 2.30 pm daily.
