In the heart of Amsterdam, you'll find the oldest brewery of Heineken beer, which today is the home of the Heineken Experience. During the tour, you'll learn more about the origins of Heineken, the brewing process, some of the crazy innovations, about Heineken's sponsorships and the history behind the beer. Of course, you'll also learn how to best enjoy the beer.

At the beginning, in the historical area of the brewery, you can find out more about the history of Heineken beer on various screens with shots of bartenders behind the bar or important personalities. You will also discover the development of beer bottles and various beer mats as well as the ingredients needed to make beer with the help of exhibits.The old brewery
The journey takes you further, directly into the old brewery. It was closed in 1988 due to lack of space and is now part of the Heineken Experience. You will also learn about the history of Heineken, the brewing process, crazy innovations and sponsorship. While you play master brewer yourself, you will learn how best to serve and enjoy your beer.The ‘Brew You Ride’
Past the horse stables, you reach a simulator with a moving platform, the Brew You Ride. You stand in a cinema and become part of the brewing process. You experience the brewing process by swimming in the beer yourself until it is bottled and enjoyed at a party.

Here you get to taste a beer that is already included in the price. During the tasting you will be guided by a bar employee and enjoy a cold Heineken beer.

The path leads you to another section of the museum, which is primarily characterised by media art. The ceiling of the museum is made of green Heineken beer bottles. The interactive wall, made from Heineken bottles, is another highlight on the tour. At this stop of the tour, you can also have photos taken, participate at a sing along, and much more. You will naturally receive the pictures via email. You will also learn how to tap beer properly. But you practise this virtually. Furthermore, you can paint with light or relax in the lounges and watch old Heineken commercials. This part of the museum is very multimedia and definitely an experience!Bottle your own
Here you can have your freshly filled beer bottle printed and take it home afterwards. The perfect souvenir of your vacation in Amsterdam and the visit to the Heineken Experience.Beer and Soccer
Just as the lid fits the pot, soccer and beer go together. Therefore, in this section you'll find soccer jerseys and can play table soccer. Who wins? You or your companion? Play for a Heineken beer!The Conclusion
At the end, you'll receive a beer to taste in another bar. The coasters on the tables are interactive and fly to your beer glass.Extras
You can also visit the Rooftop for an extra charge. There is another bar there where you can try various beer creations. For example, there's a ’Passionfruit Spritz’, a cocktail made with beer.
